Description
A nod to the style of the 1950s, the Russell family of chairs, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti, comes in a wide variety of models: a wrap-around armchair, elegant lounge and dining chairs, a bergère, a sofa with a soft silhouette and a footstool. The shape of the Russell collection takes vintage lines and updates them with the extremely sophisticated finishes of the cushions and backrest, which can be covered in fabric or leather for an elegant dialogue between textures. The fixed base is surprisingly cross-shaped in Light Bronze metal with legs covered in Moka oak wood. A detail at Russell that reflects the virtuosity of Minotti in combining diverse materials, worked with the know-how inherited from the company's tradition of craftsmanship. The Russell sofa will find a perfect place in a home and will also adapt wonderfully to a professional environment.

Rodolfo DORDONI
Rodolfo Dordoni is a major figure in Italian design. After graduating in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1979, he set up Dordoni Architects Studio and went on to work with major furniture brands such as Foscarini, Cappellini and Artemide, where he was artistic director, as well as Flos, Moroso, Cassina and, more recently, Coédition. He has also worked closely with Minotti since 1997. Its timeless, modern designs combine aesthetics and comfort. The lines are sober, minimalist and extremely distinctive. The roots of the collaboration between Minotti and Rodolfo Dordoni are long-standing and solid, because the same values are shared by the company and the designer. The designer's inspirations and thoughts come to life, and particular attention is paid to the details, finishes and materials that reveal the unique character of Minotti collections.
