Description
Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, for Minotti, Andersen is a seating system with a clearly transverse character. Andersen's aesthetic is expressed in the balance of its proportions, the harmony of its forms and the attention to detail in its construction. These characteristics are responsible both for its eclecticism and for its ability to appeal to tastes ranging from minimalist chic to a more decorative style. Different minds think alike about this product, which meets an ideal of inviting softness and warm intimacy. This sofa is raised from the floor by a lightweight base and elegant die-cast metal legs, lacquered in pewter, an exclusive shade designed by Minotti Studio. Thanks to the slight tilt of the seat and its soft, welcoming upholstery, Andersen offers a high level of comfort. These characteristics of understated elegance make Andersen the perfect synthesis of modern and classic design, allowing it to blend into any style of space.

Rodolfo DORDONI
Rodolfo Dordoni is a major figure in Italian design. After graduating in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1979, he set up Dordoni Architects Studio and went on to work with major furniture brands such as Foscarini, Cappellini and Artemide, where he was artistic director, as well as Flos, Moroso, Cassina and, more recently, Coédition. He has also worked closely with Minotti since 1997. Its timeless, modern designs combine aesthetics and comfort. The lines are sober, minimalist and extremely distinctive. The roots of the collaboration between Minotti and Rodolfo Dordoni are long-standing and solid, because the same values are shared by the company and the designer. The designer's inspirations and thoughts come to life, and particular attention is paid to the details, finishes and materials that reveal the unique character of Minotti collections.
