Drawn from the archives of
Minotti,
Albert & Ile, a family of seats and a coffee table with vintage silhouettes, are a tribute to Alberto, the founder of Minotti, who died in 1991, and to Ileana, his wife, currently Honorary President of the company. the family shares a slim, retro base, but the elements differ in their overall shapes. The armrests of
Albert borrow the classic 1900 line reinterpreted by the aesthetics of the 1950s. A decorative frontal element extends along the full length and gives shape to the armrest. Made of solid wood, it is first upholstered and then fixed with nails to the main structure. A mohair wool velvet cover with shimmering reflections and vibrant colours particularly enhances the
Albert seats. Published to mark the company's 70th anniversary,
Albert & Ile express the DNA of
Minotti which, thanks to its founder, still passes on today the importance of manual skills and the refinement of tailoring.
