Questions / Answers
View our frequently asked questionsHow to choose a design luminaire according to the room ?
The choice of a luminaire depends on the function of the space. In a living room, prioritize pendant lamps or streetlights for ambient lighting. In an office, opt for a table lamp or wall lamp offering direct and concentrated light. The rooms and dining rooms will benefit from a softer, more diffuse and warm lighting to create a soothing atmosphere.
Which light intensity to prioritize for each space ?
Each room requires a suitable intensity. Lighting between 300 and 500 lumens/m2 is suitable for an office to promote concentration, while more subdued lighting (100 to 200 lumens/m 2) is sufficient for a living room or bedroom. The variator design luminaires allow you to adjust the brightness according to the time of day or the desired atmosphere.
Are design lighting fixtures only decorative ?
No, they combine aesthetics and functionality. A well-chosen design luminaire effectively illuminates while participating in the visual identity of your interior. Whether it is a sculptural suspension, a minimalist lamp or a contemporary floor lamp, each creation brings a unique touch to the space while meeting a specific need.
Do design lighting fixtures consume a lot of energy ?
Most of today’s designer lighting fixtures use LED bulbs, known for their energy efficiency and long lifespan. They allow to reduce consumption while ensuring efficient lighting and a pleasant light.
