Antonio Citterio's
B&B Atoll modular seating system, whose name refers to the coral reefs of the same name, is the sought-after expression of balanced aesthetic form and assertive contemporary style, while at the same time being extremely elegant. Three basic platforms form the system's starting point. They are complemented by armrests and backrests to form various elements: sofas, dormeuses, corner modules, simple or modular elements, chaise longues and pouffes. The structures have light, delicate lines and are applied on high cast supports with metal profiles that emphasise the line between the structures themselves and the padding. Adding even more character to the offer is one element of support, which can be placed wherever you choose: a bolster attached by leather straps and a cast metal structure. This accessory can be inserted at will between the seat cushion and the base structure, to provide additional support or to become, either an arm- or back-rest as desired. Published by

B&B Atoll thus proves to be a dynamic project, with an ever-new degree of adaptation of the compositions, and the possibility of creating multiple forms of seating, from the most informal to the most formal.
