Transloetje and Edison the Petit, were both inspired by our grandmothers' nostalgic table lamp. Transloetje by Fatboy combines a strong heritage with a very pared-down production, stripped of all ornament. Thanks to the material, shape and shimmering colours, Transloetje by Fatboy really stands out from the crowd. Thanks to its transparency, the old-fashioned bulb inside is the centre of attention. However, the bulb is actually an energy-saving LED lamp. With no wires and rechargeable via USB, Transloetje is super mobile and perfect for both indoors and outdoors. The touch switch on the foot allows the light to be switched on and adjusted to three different intensities. The name Transloetje is a combination of two things: 'trans' for the transparent version of Edison's The Petit lamp, and 'loetje' is the phonetic Dutch translation of 'luce' (light in Italian).
