With the Multi-lite Portable lamp, Gubi brings even more flexibility to one of the most adaptable designs of the 20th century, reimagining the table lamp in a format that can be carried anywhere. Gubi has collaborated with the family of designer Louis Weisdorf to edit the Multi-lite in a more compact format, incorporating a USB rechargeable battery and a three-level touch dimmer function. The ring that is so characteristic of the Multi-lite lamp now also acts as a handle, making the lamp easy to carry.
The Multi-Lite was designed in 1972 by Louis Weisdorf, celebrating his passion for diversity. The Multi-Lite table lamp is characterised by its multiple combination options: the light can be directed upwards, downwards or emit an asymmetrical artistic light in two directions. With its timeless elegance and decorative expression, the Multi-lite table lamp appears almost sculptural.
