Designed by Christophe Delcourt, the Fil Noir armchair is inspired by thread, an unequivocal symbol of continuity. A thread that actually gives body and substance to the seat: not only does it outline its profile, but it also supports and envelops it.It expresses an important choice in its material: metal tubing painted matte black. This choice of absolute rigour is softened with the rings that characterise the corners of the seat and give the Fil Noir armchair a decorative touch that contrasts with the severity of the structure. The search for a solution to elegantly combine form and function led to the creation of a wrap-around backrest and a comfortable seat, both with a metal and polyurethane-foam structure. The inner cushion has a thermoformed plastic and polyurethane foam structure and gives the backrest extra comfort. The meticulous details of Fil Noir's tailoring testify to Minotti's great expertise and reinforce the perception of a product characterised by high-level craftsmanship.
