Description

The Coco armchair by Gubi is part of the Coco collection, designed by OEO studio who set out to create a series of charismatic seats with a high level of comfort. The Coco Lounge chair takes its codes from industrial simplicity, fashion and Bauhaus, but the main inspiration for the design was the desire to create a simple, yet elegant armchair using minimal materials and tools without compromising design and character. The result is an armchair with a post-industrial look, balanced with an elegant silhouette where soft curves add a feminine, playful touch. Feminine expression is also what gave the chair its glamorous name, evoking references aplenty.

Based in the docks of Copenhagen, the Gubi headquarters spans 2000 square meters in a former tobacco factory, now renovated into a vast modern loft-style showroom.
