A custom-made project is the only solution to save the Altrad-Plettac scaffolding fleet from a compromised future… and this is where the Clavex table available in 3 sizes (for 6, 8, or 10 people) comes into play. After years of rental, these scaffolds are no longer suitable for supporting a worker at height, but they retain all their structural qualities when used on the ground. It is with this in mind that Maximum sees an opportunity to create a unique piece. A glass partition is cut to fit the space perfectly. This glass is hardened for safety reasons, making it impossible to cut again. When removed, these glass panels, even in perfect condition, inevitably end up at the recycling center. Due to their fixed dimensions, their reuse becomes a challenge. The epoxy paint used is a powder sprayed onto the steel parts before being baked at 200°C. During this process, part of the powder also spreads onto the glass panels. Once the application is complete, part of this powder is sucked into the recovery circuits, where it mixes with the residues in the tanks. The resulting mixture is fully reusable, although each color obtained is unique and unpredictable.
