Orpheus is a
marble table designed by Lorenzo Bini in collaboration with the Italian house
Tacchini. The
Orpheus table is distinguished by its indefinite shape, its handcrafted manufacture and the use of a unique and precious material. This
dining table is inspired by the work of painter Cy Twombly, transforming it into a piece of contemporary design. The shape of the top of the
table Orpheus takes its name from Cy Twombly's painting "Orpheus", painted in 1979. Edited by
Tacchini, the
Orpheus table features a marble top supported by five legs, obtained by juxtaposing slightly offset strips of the same marble.
Orpheus thus becomes an invitation to sit down and pay homage to the work from which it springs and to the artist who created it.
