The La Cupola espresso coffee maker was designed in 1988 for the famous Italian publisher Alessi by Aldo Rossi, who had also created some of the most representative objects of the 1980s, including the La Conica coffee maker four years earlier. La Cupola demonstrates the ability of great designers to respond to the tastes of the public: a moka coffee maker 'for everyone', in beautiful aluminium that brings out all the flavour of Italian coffee with art and simplicity. This coffee maker has become an icon for the brand, and was born as an evolution of the "Tea & Coffee Piazza" operation, which saw leading architects get involved in creating a tea and coffee service. It is made of cast aluminium with a black polyamide handle and knob. The Cupola is considered to be the very essence of all the coffee makers in our kitchens, making serving coffee to your guests a real pleasure.
