The Horse Lamp is the work of 4 Swedish designers united under the stage name of Front Design. This offbeat lamp consists of a life-size polyester horse (over 2 metres high) wonderfully topped with a lamp and lampshade. Full of irony, this horse takes centre stage in large spaces: a real masterpiece. Horse Lamp belongs to the fantasy world of the Unexpected Collection from publisher Moooi.

Marcel Wanders became known within the renowned group of designers, Droog Design. In 2001, he founded the company Moooi, which means "beautiful" in Dutch. The Moooi collection features fanciful and offbeat style, which is sometimes even provocative, and as such produces extraordinary, head-turning pieces. From the Little Bold candlestick to the Chess coffee table, the avant-garde design surprises and the industrial objects fuse reverie with the unusual. Marcel Wanders also collaborates with internationally-renowned designers such as Ross Lovegrove, Studio Job and Ron Gilad.
