Menu, the
Duca candlestick takes its name from the Latin for "to extend", and that's exactly what it does: by loosening the screw on the frame, the height of the candlestick can be adjusted, as the candle burns. The Duca
bougeoir also stands out for its elegant finish in polished or burnished brass and its rattan detail, which gives a warm feel. Working with a blacksmith, the Danish design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen discovered a simple mechanism used to change the height of certain objects. It is this detail that becomes a the key element of the
bougeoir Duca and allows the user to modify the height as they wish, to create dynamic compositions of several elements on a festive table, for example.
