The Dorval collection is the result of contemporary design meeting a more nostalgic industrial aesthetic. Dorval is the marketable version of a suspension prototype created by Paris-based studio SCMP DESIGN OFFICE. It is edited and produced exclusively at the Montreal workshop of Lambert & Fils. Comprising four aluminium heads, the suspension Dorval is inspired by both runway lights and the essential attributes of a chandelier. Each head can be oriented to distribute light in any direction, while the precision of each component keeps the lamp balanced and aligned. These features make Dorval an impressive and attractive luminaire. Its industrial origins and striking shape ensure it a place in a variety of spaces: above the dining table, as a mood light in the living room or even in an office.
