Daphine is a
desk lamp edited by
Lumina and made by Tommaso Cimini in 1973. Now a
classic of design and of the brand, it embodies both elegance and functionality to suit all office styles. Presented at Campionaria Fiera in Milan, the
Daphine goes back to the origins of the brand
Lumina very quickly becoming its icon by perfectly representing the brand's philosophy: "refined lighting". It has been exhibited in some of the world's most prestigious contemporary art and design museums, including the Brooklyn Museum (1984) and the Judd Foundation (1994) in New York, the Musée des arts décoratifs in Paris (1985) and Die Neue Sammlung in Munich (1986). SILVERA-eshop offers it in
table lamp and floor lamp versions, but also in the Daphinette version, the little sister of the
Daphine made up of an articulated arm at the end of which the diffuser swivels 360°. The transformer is included in the base.
