Description
For the Beetle collection, design duo GamFratesi drew inspiration from the beetle, studying the insect's anatomy, aesthetics and movement. Thus, the collection reinterprets the characteristic elements of the beetle: its shape, joints, the rigid appearance on the outside and the softness on the inside. Now available in an unupholstered version, the Beetle chair has become a collection with limitless possibilities. Its plastic shell gives it a lighter look while being very robust and more accessible. Its matt texture, which gives it a very tactile feel, is combined with exceptional seating quality. Thanks to the multiple shell colours and base finishes available, theunupholstered Beetle chair from Gubi fits into all types of spaces, whether at home around a dining table or in communal environments.

GAMFRATESI
The GamFratesi studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. GamFratesi is part of the latest generation of furniture designers, and together they represent a new interpretation of Danish and international design. GamFratesi's designs draw their creative impetus from the fusion of tradition and renewal, as well as from an experimental approach to materials and techniques. With their respective cultures, they draw their inspiration from Danish furniture and Scandinavian craft traditions, but also from Italy's timeless conceptual and intellectual approach. Thanks to this multi-cultural partnership, GamFratesi creates furniture pieces that reflect tradition while presenting unique stories, symbols and associations, often expressed in a minimalist style. The GamFratesi duo works with some of the biggest names in design, including Gubi, with the Bat collection and the now famous Beetle chair, Hay, with the Silhouette sofa, and also Minotti, Dedon and Fontana Arte.

GUBI
Created by Lisbeth and Olsen Gubi, the brand Gubi is a Danish company that has been re-editing some of the greatest design classics since 1967. Based in the docks of Copenhagen, the Gubi headquarters spans 2000 square meters in a former tobacco factory, now renovated into a vast modern loft-style showroom. One of the iconic pieces of the Gubi brand is the Pacha armchair. This armchair by Pierre Paulin embodies the innovative spirit and timeless elegance of Gubi. The Gubi chairs are renowned for their innovative design and exceptional comfort, seamlessly blending contemporary aesthetics with functionality. These iconic pieces evoke emotions and tell meaningful stories, making them both timeless and enduring.
