Description

Design duo Kay + Stemmer have designed two self-supporting shelves named Edith and Agnès for furniture publisher SCP. Edith is the smallest with three shelves and Agnès, the tallest, has five. They are delivered fully assembled and their shape echoes the characteristics of a classic shelf. The edges are rounded, and the shape is slightly conical towards the top and perfectly proportioned. The result is visually soft shelves that stand elegantly and harmoniously in a bedroom, living room or office. Published by SCP, the Agnès and Edith shelves are available in two wood stains: oak or walnut. They are sleek, practical and adapt perfectly to all types of interiors.

SCP

SCP was founded in 1985 by Sheridan Coakley and manufactures functional, aesthetic and durable designer furniture and accessories. The brand first exhibited at the Furniture Fair in Milan in 1986 and featured pieces by Matthew Hilton and Jasper Morrison. SCP then became a pioneer in the UK furniture industry. The brand has since collaborated with hugely talented designers including Konstantin Grcic and Tom Dixon. In particular, duo Kay + Stemmer has produced a series of storage and shelves such as the must-have Agnès and the Cedric desk.
