Pendant Light A1965 Brass GUBI

Unveiled in 1947 at the Finnish House in New York, Gubi's A1965 pendant light was an instant success for Paavo Tynell and one of the lamps that defined the high point of the mid-century. It retains some of its most distinctive design features; the perforated and polished brass material combined with a unique mechanism that allows the lamp to be raised and lowered to different heights. The A1965 pendant system diffuses light gracefully downwards through the frosted glass, without glare, while gently illuminating the room.
