Description
Piana, also known as Alessichair, is a folding chair designed by David Chipperfield for Alessi and produced by Lamm. Made of fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene, Piana is 100% recyclable and can be used both indoors and outdoors. The extreme simplicity of the shape is accompanied by high levels of manoeuvrability. The back of the chair is only 7cm long when folded, making it very easy to handle. Piana is only 3cm in depth, emphasising the lightness of this model designed for both public and residential use: in the dining room, kitchen, office or terrace. Piana can be used and stored as required, but it can also be used permanently, just like any other chair.
