Description
Designed by Nanna Ditzel, Trinidad is an elegant and sculptural chair produced by Fredericia. When it was introduced in 1993, this chair was an immediate hit for both public and domestic spaces, and soon became an iconic design piece. Trinidad stands out for the innovative techniques used to create a chair that is as light as it is sturdy. The cut-outs in the seat and backrest make the chair visually lighter but are also an important aesthetic element. The moulded plywood seat and backrest are combined with a sleek tubular-steel base.
