Description
In 1955, functionalist architect Barba Corsini renovated Antoni Gaudi's 'La Pedrera' building in Barcelona and designed the furniture for the apartments, including a collection of lights. Designed by Joaquim Ruiz Millet as a tribute to his mentor Corsini, the Pedrera Ana pendant lamp is inspired by the Pedrera ceilings, with the shades taking the shape of the perforated sheet-metal chimneys. Both classic and modern, this lamp emits light directly downwards and is dimmed at the sides thanks to the perforated metal. Produced by Gubi, the Pedrera floor lamp adds a graphic touch to a living room or bedroom and diffuses a soft light.
