The
Arco floor lamp has become a lighting classic, as well as a contemporary design staple. Created in 1962 by the Castiglioni brothers for publisher
Flos. The
Arco floor lamp has become a design classic. This floor lamp provides direct light and is fixed within a white Carrara marble base. The Arco floor lamp has a telescopic stem in satin-finish stainless steel. The height of the light can be adjusted from 137 to 171 cm from the floor. The diffuser is made of polished cast aluminium which is coated with a transparent protective lacquer. Perforated at the top, it scatters studs of light across the ceiling.
Arco, still published today by
Flos, is a must-have luminaire that attracts diffused soft light into your living room. Like a symbol, the
Arco floor lamp also illuminates MoMA's permanent collection.
