The FSC-certified solid oak legs are topped with superb porcelain stoneware tops, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and quality.  The Couple coffee table is made up of large rectangular tops available in two different finishes: smooth or corrugated. The assembly of the tops of the Couple de Muuto low table allows a play of textures, alternating smooth surfaces and surfaces sculpted by undulations that form slight reliefs, tracing strong, sculptural lines. The words of designer Sylvain Willenz: "The Couple coffee table was born out of my research into this traditional and essential piece of furniture. I wanted to propose a new and subtle vision of these materials and this typology. I was inspired by the materiality of ceramics such as brick and terracotta, and realised that there is a beautiful synergy when they are combined with wood. I've always been attracted to texture and I wanted a design with an intrinsically tactile character, produced by the granular feel of the surface of ceramic tiles.
