Description
The suspension Sculpture Vipp is ideal for pleasantly lighting different spaces, as it is suitable for many different types of room. It can be used above a kitchen, dining room or living room. The technical details and the light softly diffused through three layers of hand-blown glass bring sophisticated lighting to meetings around the table. Ancient hand-blown techniques have been used to shape the glass shade of the suspension Sculpture Vipp. The refined composition of white glass inner layers and frosted outer layers generates an opaque surface and ensures an even, pleasing distribution of light.

VIPP
The story of Vipp began in 1939, in the small Danish town of Randers, when Marie asked her husband Holger Nielsen to create a trash bin for her new hair salon. Holger, a skilled craftsman with a keen sense of aesthetics, wanted to impress his wife and thus put all his talent into creating a pedal bin that was both functional and elegant. The bin, which he named Vipp, was never intended to be sold. However, some of Marie's clients were so impressed by its functionality that they ordered it for their husbands' medical offices and dental clinics.
