The Pic-a-stic suspension by Andreas Walther for Ingo Maurer is an original and playful suspension. Inspired by the Mikado game of skill, it consists of long lacquered wooden rods arranged around the luminous body and held in place by a flexible black rubber ring. The position of the rods can therefore be changed at any time. The luminaire is available in kit form, so owners can create their own individual light feature in a few simple steps. The Pic-a-stic suspension is available in two versions: a version with black, white and red rods and a coloured version with blue, red and orange rods. Edited by Ingo Maurer, the Suspension Pic-a-Stic combines mischief and poetry in an original way in a unique luminaire.
Ingo Maurer was an ambitious German designer who founded his own lighting company in 1963. One of his first creations developed in 1966, Bulb, was an instant succes which saw the lamp featured at the MoMA in New York. Creations by the designer and his team resemble bright works of art that bring a poetic touch to your interior. Each of Ingo Maurer's designs transforms light into art: the Lucellino table lamp with its winged light bulb ensures sweet dreams in bedrooms, while the Zettel pendant light sets the tone in hallways.
