Le designer Rick Tegelaar a conçu la suspension Meshmatics pour MOOOI, un lustre issu d’un étonnant processus de création.  Au premier coup d’œil, cette suspension attire le regard par son apparence sophistiquée. C’est un matériau bien plus humble, le treillis métallique, qui une fois façonné et travaillé donne corps au surprenant luminaire Meshmatics. Sa silhouette est obtenue grâce à une gamme d’outils élaborées spécifiquement pour sa conception, pour la modeler avec précision. Le plein potentiel de ce matériau fin et flexible est étiré et capturé dans trois délicates pièces de métal. La suspension Meshmatics se prête élégamment à la décoration et l’éclairage de tous types d’espaces, grâce à son émission lumineuse diffuse et chaleureuse.

Marcel Wanders became known within the renowned group of designers, Droog Design. In 2001, he founded the company Moooi, which means "beautiful" in Dutch. The Moooi collection features fanciful and offbeat style, which is sometimes even provocative, and as such produces extraordinary, head-turning pieces. From the Little Bold candlestick to the Chess coffee table, the avant-garde design surprises and the industrial objects fuse reverie with the unusual. Marcel Wanders also collaborates with internationally-renowned designers such as Ross Lovegrove, Studio Job and Ron Gilad.
