Created by Emiliana Martinelli for the Italian publishing house Martinelli Luce, the Lunaop suspension combines the sophistication of Italian design with energy-efficient technology.
The airy filigree design of Lunaop is achieved by its lightweight painted aluminium structure and the localised, indirect flux of its LED circuit, protected by an opaline methacrylate diffuser. This ensures subdued light and controlled lighting.
With its width and soft light emission, the Lunaop suspension lamp by Martinelli Luce beautifies the space it lights and promises a spectacular effect, particularly above a living or dining room.
Created in 1980 by Elio Martinelli, Martinelli Luce designs and manufactures lighting systems with innovative design both in terms of shape and technology. The Martinelli Luce luminaires are inspired by nature and geometry, and are primarily designed to be functional. Among its most famous creations, the Pipistrello lamp Martinelli Luce, created by Gae Aulenti, and displayed in the world’s greatest galleries and museums, is one of the icons of design.
Since its creation, Martinelli Luce has continued to innovate by introducing new technologies for products characterized by essential design.
