The starting point for his Aaro lamp from DCW éditions was a gesture. The desire to create the most fluid movement possible. This immediately led its creator to the sphere. A sphere as a hinge, leaving room for infinite directions. A sphere that has no left, no right, no top and no bottom. As the central element of the Aaro Ceiling lamp, this sphere allows everything else to gravitate around it. Geometry, balance and friction. It's all down to her. Aaro Ceiling by DCW éditions is an object that seems to float in the air, gravitating around its central piece like planets in orbit.

Founded in 2008 by Philippe Cazer and Frédéric Winkler, the French company DCW Editions specializes in the design and reissue of lighting and furniture designs. Its goal is to give a second life to objects that have left their mark on the past.
