The Class lighting collection was created by designer Sebastian Herkner and published by the Vibia lighting house.
Class features a matt aluminium body, available in two sizes, and a diffuser wrapped in borosilicate glass, which filters the light while concealing its source.
The sophistication of the Class luminaire comes from combining great elegance with the optimum functionality of a classic floor lamp. It blends in perfectly with outdoor settings, adding a particularly soft atmosphere.
The Class collection is available as outdoor wall lights Class 2820 and Class 2825, or as outdoor floor lights Class 2800 and Class 2805.

Born in Germany in 1981, Sebastian Herkner studied Product Design at the University of Arts and Design in Offenbach, graduating in 2007. He founded his own eponymous studio in 2006, also in the same city, specialising in object and furniture design. Following an internship at Stella McCartney during his studies, he developed a real sensitivity to colours, materials and textures. "There is a sensibility and identity to my work that emphasises function, material and detail." Sebastian Herkner also works on interior architecture projects and museum exhibitions. His many collaborations testify to his talent, including ClassiCon with the famous Bell table, Moroso, Pulpo, Cappellini, Gubi, And Tradition, La Chance, Zanotta and Thonet. His curiosity for different cultures is reflected in his creations. He combines traditional craftsmanship with new technologies to achieve a certain balance. Winner of numerous awards, he has been named "Designer of the Year" by the Maison & Objet show in 2019.
