Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Foscarini, Nile is a table lamp with great character and stage presence, bringing sophisticated elegance to any space. Nile is an object that represents the perfect balance between two opposites, the texture of marble and the delicacy of glass. Already beautiful when switched off, the lampe design Nile looks even better when the light filters through the blown glass, shining upwards and downwards through the two open sides of the diffuser.

Rodolfo DORDONI

Rodolfo Dordoni is a major figure in Italian design. After graduating in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1979, he set up Dordoni Architects Studio and went on to work with major furniture brands such as Foscarini, Cappellini and Artemide, where he was artistic director, as well as Flos, Moroso, Cassina and, more recently, Coédition. He has also worked closely with Minotti since 1997. Its timeless, modern designs combine aesthetics and comfort. The lines are sober, minimalist and extremely distinctive. The roots of the collaboration between Minotti and Rodolfo Dordoni are long-standing and solid, because the same values are shared by the company and the designer. The designer's inspirations and thoughts come to life, and particular attention is paid to the details, finishes and materials that reveal the unique character of Minotti collections.

FOSCARINI

Foscarini was founded in 1981 in Venice. Foscarini has been producing lighting and exploring the possibilities and qualities of Murano glass since 1981, most of its design have gone on to become classics. For Foscarini, each project requires a new supplier in order to best meet the customer's requirements. Freedom of production advocated by Foscarini inspired two of the company's designers, Carlo Urbinatti and Alessancro Vecchiato, to use other materials. This strategy results in a wealth of inspirations, raw materials and technological innovations. Foscarini's concepts, shapes and materials illuminate and transform the offerings and initiatives of international designers
