The My New Flame lamp by Moritz Waldemeyer, Ingo Maurer and his team has an original design. Imitating the movement of a candle flame, this lamp is fitted with LEDs programmed on the basis of video sequences. A mobile table lamp that can be recharged by USB, My New Flame produces a light that's as pleasant as a candlelit dinner. The LEDs form a rectangle on either side of the thin plate, so that the image of the flame is visible from both sides of the lamp. The light is switched on and off using a switch in the base, but can also be dimmed. My New flame is available in three colours: white, red and black.

Ingo Maurer was an ambitious German designer who founded his own lighting company in 1963. One of his first creations developed in 1966, Bulb, was an instant succes which saw the lamp featured at the MoMA in New York. Creations by the designer and his team resemble bright works of art that bring a poetic touch to your interior. Each of Ingo Maurer's designs transforms light into art: the Lucellino table lamp with its winged light bulb ensures sweet dreams in bedrooms, while the Zettel pendant light sets the tone in hallways.
