The metal forms the base and contains the light source, while the glass, the real protagonist of the project, is skilfully worked by skilled craftsmen in a fusion process between a transparent glass section and a satin-finish section from which the light is diffused. The Fontanella lamp is distinguished by the union of two glasses: a sandblasted inner tube, connected to a bubble-shaped piece of blown glass. What makes the process particularly refined is the manual assembly of these two pieces, which requires the technique of a craftsman.
