Description

First published by Stilnovo in 1965, Buonanotte is one of the Milanese house's icons of the past reissued to illuminate today's interiors. Buonanotte is a fun stand lamp whose light can be adjusted by rotating two metal quarters which, moved freely on the spherical diffuser, control the light beam. With a simple gesture, it changes the atmosphere: open for a good read or closed and diffuse, an accomplice to dreams. The Buonanotte lamp consists of a metal body and a triplex blown glass diffuser. This lamp by the Italian house Stilnovo is available in white, blue, yellow and red.

Founded in 1946 by Bruno Gatta in the heart of Milan, Stilnovo is an Italian brand specializing in designer lighting. Awarded several times at the Milan Triennale and the prestigious Compasso d’Oro (Golden Compass), Stilnovo boasts a catalog filled with iconic pieces, such as the Saliscendi suspension light, designed in 1957 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for the Milan Chamber of Commerce. Over the years, Stilnovo has collaborated with renowned designers such as Ettore Sottsass, Gae Aulenti, and Piero Castiglioni, who created the Minibox table lamp in 1981.
