Nuunu is a floor lamp by Flavia Thumshirn for Ingo Maurer. Poetic and sculptural, this luminaire emits a warm light thanks to the reflection of three golden paper circles arranged on stainless steel rods. Crystalline glass balls are placed on the base of the Nuunu floor lamp, diffusing the light upwards, illuminating the gilded paper. The floor lamp creates a play of shadows on the ceiling that varies according to the brightness setting. LEDs become warmer as the light intensity decreases. The golden leaves can be turned and adjusted as required, changing the play of light and shadow. Inspired by nature, the design of the Nuunu floor lamp by Ingo Maurer is reminiscent of autumn leaves on a branch and reeds.

Ingo Maurer was an ambitious German designer who founded his own lighting company in 1963. One of his first creations developed in 1966, Bulb, was an instant succes which saw the lamp featured at the MoMA in New York. Creations by the designer and his team resemble bright works of art that bring a poetic touch to your interior. Each of Ingo Maurer's designs transforms light into art: the Lucellino table lamp with its winged light bulb ensures sweet dreams in bedrooms, while the Zettel pendant light sets the tone in hallways.
