Designed in 1997 by Morten Gøttler, the Cuba armchair is a good example of the heritage of Scandinavian design and the balance between clarity of form and function. Edited by Carl Hansen, the Cuba armchair has become a true design classic in just two decades. It is now available in a natural rope version, giving the armchair an even lighter, more refined expression. It has a folding base in solid oak, on which the seat and backrest are woven. This technique provides both comfort and support, as the seat adapts to the contours of the body. This lounge chair is ideal as an additional seat or as a permanent fixture in the living room. The Cuba armchair is lightweight and foldable, making it easy to transport and store.
