Description
Wendelbo is collaborating with designer Luca Nichetto to create Aloe, a soft, comfortable armchair that combines organic forms and rigorous design. Luca Nichetto drew his inspiration for this piece from nature, using the shape of the Aloe Vera plant as a starting point. Like the leaves of the plant, the Aloe armchair combines a soft, rounded shape with elegant upward tension. The seat and backrest are generously upholstered and impress with their refined details. They contrast with the lightweight tubular steel base. With its dynamic yet soft silhouette, the Aloe armchair calls for relaxation and blends easily into any style of interior. A matching footrest is also available.

Luca NICHETTO
Luca Nichetto studied industrial design at Iuav University in Venice, graduating in 1998. He then became a product designer and consultant for the famous lighting company Foscarini. In 2006, he founded his own design agency in Venice, Nichetto & Partners, before moving to Stockholm, Sweden, to open a second agency. He currently lives and works there. His work has won numerous international awards. His innovative side stands out, as does the variety of fields he explores, from the design of new products to interior design and architecture projects. Luca Nichetto pays great attention to detail and innovation in his designs. "Functionality and emotion are essential if an object is to be complete," he says. Since the start of his career, he has worked with a host of partners, including AndTradition, Cassina, Coedition, La Chance, Moroso, Kristalia and Petite Friture. His iconic pieces also include the You sofa.
