The Lodge chair Vipp is presented with Soprano and Ruskin upholstery, with light or dark oak legs. The Lodge range is a collection of softly upholstered furniture, comprising a dining chair, a lounge chair and a footrest. The Lodge collection was created to mark the opening of Vipp Lodge, the fourth hotel room in the Vipp brand's range of destination hotels.

VIPP

The story of Vipp began in 1939, in the small Danish town of Randers, when Marie asked her husband Holger Nielsen to create a trash bin for her new hair salon. Holger, a skilled craftsman with a keen sense of aesthetics, wanted to impress his wife and thus put all his talent into creating a pedal bin that was both functional and elegant. The bin, which he named Vipp, was never intended to be sold. However, some of Marie's clients were so impressed by its functionality that they ordered it for their husbands' medical offices and dental clinics.
